STRATA DECISION TECHNOLOGY (Chicago, IL)

Senior Consultant, Jun 2006 – Jun 2008

I led operating budget and long-range financial planning software implementations from start to finish for 17 health care providers, including The Cleveland Clinic and Duke University Medical Center. I was involved in developing best practices in planning, building complex Microsoft Excel models integrated with data warehouses and business intelligence reporting packages to support client business plans, and managing both day-to-day and long-term aspects of client engagements. I had the opportunity to cultivate strong advisory relationships, acting as a trusted resource to mid- and senior-level financial executives and to train hundreds of end users with both financial and non-financial backgrounds.

OFFICE OF VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS (Champaign, IL)

Barbara Seaquist Williams Intern, Aug 2005 – May 2006

I was responsible for researching community service at other campuses in order to provide a more comprehensive experience to students at the University of Illinois. I also coordinated several special projects, including a campus-wide holiday toy drive for 500 local children and a handful of publications on volunteer opportunities.

ILLINI MENTOR PROGRAM (Champaign, IL)

Founding President, Jan 2005 – May 2006

I established this Program and orchestrated its rapid growth to over 100 members, who acted as one-on-one mentors to area youth. My main responsibilities were to create and nurture partnerships with local agencies and to develop outstanding leaders and mentors through a dynamic advancement program. The Illini Mentor Program continues to grow and thrive at the University of Illinois.
